A Central Connection

Staying at LOOP on Leith means being at the heart of the action. Our central location connects guests to most sites, events and activities in George Town via proximity; all you need are your feet. Bicycle is another pleasant way of touring the area, and if you plan to wander further afield, motorcycle- and car-hire rentals are available as are taxi, bus and Grab services.

Getting to LOOP, too, is a breeze with the Penang International Airport only a 30-minute drive away, where as those ferrying to the island can expect to get to our hotel in a short 10 minutes car ride from the Swettenham Pier Cruise Terminal (passenger ferry from Butterworth). And if you’re planning on some sun and surf, 25 minutes is all the travel time you need to get to the white sandy beach of Batu Ferringhi. Be sure to bring some sun lotion!
